  3. Responsibility of Enterprise is to bring technologies which help students learn ( I am convinced this should be stated we are responsible to aggregate as I don't think the enterprise is currently providing nor can it bring all of the tools necessary for great instruction)

Kent has served as the Dean of Distance Learning/CTO at Western Oklahoma State College in Altus Oklahoma for the past 14 years. He is involved in teacher-training projects and efforts to bring networking and telecommunications technologies to rural areas. His grant writing efforts have brought over $4 million dollars to Southwestern Oklahoma to equip rural schools, tribal complexes and museums with distance learning technologies. More specifically his work interest and focus is on the “open” or “free” software movement and its impact on delivery of technological services in higher education.
