Magical Media and the Need for More Substance than is in a Tweet: Ted Koppel Keynote at UMass Graduation

This is really good.  I have often wondered about the speed at which information flows and how much quality there really is in some of the info provided by modern media.  I love Ted Koppel's perspective on this and I think I even miss him as a part of the mass media.  At any rate I believe it is good perspective for technologists in general.  Below is a portion of the good stuff from the speech, the entire speech, and  a link to an article about the speech.
