Tweets with Purpose

I was just thinking of the people I follow on twitter and that not many post with purpose. I have seen many great applications of Twitter, such as when we had our Jan 28, 2010 ice storm which left us without power for 11 days (others were out longer) Twitter was one of the best sources of information available (if you had a cell phone with a data plan)

WICHE conference notes 2004:

Heartland Elearning Conference 2010 Unplugging from the Commerical Software Grid Presentation Materials

I was just thinking is there such a thing as Extreme Note Taking?

Myself and one of my staff members, Steve, tried a new approach to note taking and sharing at the Heartland eLearning. We set up a single mindmap in MindMeister and then both added ideas and key points throughout the sessions we attended.

The Open Software Movement And The Software for Starving Students Project At Western Oklahoma State College

I was just thinking. Rising educational costs are in the news nearly every day and we encounter more students and families who are having and ever increasingly difficult time making ends meet. This project, born of the free software movement is for students who are unable to buy software because they do not have financial resources.…
