I was asked awhile back about leaving a job gracefully. It was somewhat related to a graduate class one of my colleagues is taking.   I guess I was pretty convenient for an interview since I had just changed jobs.  Interesting topic.  In the past year I left a position which I had held for the previous 15 years.  That is pretty amazing in itself considering the average life span of an IT manger is almost always in the range of 4 1/2 years.

Who Killed Uncle Will?

Lorena Nugent Caroll was born Nov 2, 1911. Her mother was Narcissa Melissa Looney Nugent (Aunt Millie)and her father was William Thomas Nugent(Uncle Will). Uncle Will died from a gunshot wound in the back when Lorena was six months old.



Lorena was a first cousin to my mother, Juanita Brooks as her mother Rebecca Suzanne (Suzy)and Aunt Millie were sisters. On the Huckaby side they were second cousins. The Huckaby’s were friends of the Looney’s in Texas and were and were also…
